Our new staff members took part in Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training in our Head Office in Armagh this week. CPI training is essential for preparing staff to support individuals with intellectual/ learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs. It provides staff with tools to manage challenging situations with empathy and professionalism by focusing on understanding behavior, recognising early warning signs, and using proactive de-escalation strategies. These skills are vital for ensuring the safety, dignity, and well-being of those we support.
